The year 2024 is coming to an end any soon, just a couple of days. A time to slow down when winter is crawling in here. But also a time to reflect on a year gone by. A year that has changed a lot for us, a year to remember old and looking forward to new memories!
Working in the garden On the day that it almost looked like Autumn, we worked in the garden. Still working on the basics of the vegetable garden. It need some more time and years to get the veggie garden fully functional. But for now it is a start. And with my new (2nd hand) yellow wheelbarrow, filling the compost heap is so much easier.
Summertime! It is also summertime and vacation on our homestead in France. We enjoyed having friends over. Relaxed a bit at a lake and discovered lots and lots of beautiful sunflowers just down the road.
We had a wonderful week. It was warm, sunny and we enjoyed being on our Homestead in France. We left the renovations for a few days and wind down a bit after a nice cup of coffee in the morning.
We are moving to France. Together with our two Sphynx cats (Noël and Izzy) and eventually also our chickens.
